Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga Bodywork is an ancient and sacred system of healing with roots in Yoga and Ayurvedic Medicine. It is a system of yoga healing which combines rhythmic massage, acu-pressure, assisted yoga stretching exercises, gentle twisting, energy work and meditation. This work aids in releasing stress and tension, increases vitality and well-being and it deepens the connection between mind, body and spirit in both the giver and receiver. Thai Yoga Bodywork also integrates other techniques and practices of yoga and yoga bodywork, including restorative yoga, breath-work, pranic healing, meditation and deep relaxation to make this system complete, balanced and deeply therapeutic. The receiver is mostly lying down comfortably throughout the session.

What to expect:

  • Session takes place on a comfortable, large, cushioned mat
  • Attire should be comfortable exercise or yoga wear that the body can easily move around in
  • Drink plenty of water before and after the session
  • To receive the complete work, sessions are 2 hours in length
